Greetings from Edison, New Jersey
in the good ol' United States of
America. My name is Larry Feldman and I'll be your host in this
self-guided tour of my home page.
Click the Edison Tower

This is the Thomas Edison Light

Edison is located in the center of
New Jersey in the county of Middlesex. Founded in 1870 as Raritan
Township and renamed Edison in 1954. Menlo Park, in the township,
contains the Edison Memorial Tower (above) and is the site of the
research laboratory where Thomas Alva Edison invented the
incandescent light bulb.
Granted a Novice class Amateur

Radio show which is
heard on Shortwave, Satellite, the Internet on
http://www.cirrusbroadcasting.com and selected AM & FM radio stations
around the country. Duties are sometimes co-host and
sometimes engineer. I am known as the Rastamon all
over the world. At the Shortwave Listeners convention in
Kulpsville, Pennsylvania, I even got a mop head from the
dollar store and dyed it dark brown and wore it for the
show. Surprisingly, people in attendance actually knew me
by the Rastamon name. It was a fun time. As of January 16th,
2000 , I now host an internet radio show on Sunday nights
at 7pm eastern standard time. It is called "Talk Is
Cheap" and can be heard on the Cirrus Broadcasting Network
website http://www.cirrusbroadcasting.com .
Also check out http://tic.orn.com No Politics. No Religion. Just a fun
show. Join me and my co-host. Live365 is
required and is available from the show website. Call-in

Rastamon
Why am I called the
Rastamon? Well, it all started when I took a vacation
with astronomy club from Voorhees State Park in High
Bridge, New Jersey. We went to Barbados to see the Haley's
Comet because that was one of the best places to view it
from. While sitting by the pool with my friends, a local
Rastafarian dude replete with dreadlocks came up to the
cement wall that separated the pool from the beach. The
Rastafarian was trying to sell us jewelry from the local
area. When we told him that we weren't interested, he
told us that we HAD TO BUY because he was the best
looking Rastamon on the island. Then I told him that I
was the best looking Rastamon on my island. He asked
"what island is that mon" ? So I told him
New Jersey. Sure, I thought he may get mad, but I said it
anyway. Anyway, we all had a hearty laugh and since then
I became known as the Rastamon.. Just ask my Rasta
cousin Dina or the Spectrum people. They know me.
Ya mon!!
Getting Personal
I consider
myself a fun guy who likes looking for humor in everyday
life. Puns and sporadic jokes are my specialty. Hobbies
include Ham Radio and computers. Some of my interests are
whitewater rafting, canoeing, camping, travel, listening
to music, watching movies, cooking and many others. On my
computer bulletin board, "Planet Shadowstar" ,
I originated the "Ntertain" network which is
sent all over New Jersey and into the Pocono mountains of
Pennsylvania. On it, various local events from these
areas are posted and some of us get together to socialize
at them. All are welcome to join us. Unfortunately, Planet Shadowstar BBS
is not operational anymore since the Internet became popular. In
place of Ntertain, I have created a distribution list for local events,
but these are local New Jersey events. If you are in my area and
interested in joining in on these local events, send me an e-mail.
