After a visit to Dr. Koval, Buffy & John discovered

Chumley's

Since 1922

86 Bedford St. * New York, NY 10014 * 212-675-4449

You'll miss the Bedford Street entrance if you don't know where it is.

The Barrow Street entrance is through a court yard to this back door.

The atmosphere is old American rustic.

The walls are decorated with photos and book jackets from famous visitors.

Two of the regulars get attention from Jim DiPaola.

Who says a "Dog's Life" is bad?

A photo of Orsen Wells adorns the wall...

...as does Ethel Waters

A write up of Chumley's from Dining in New York.

An old Chumley's menue dated 1940.

Another patron's book jacket...

A drawing of Ethel Waters.

A few of additional famous patrons.

Even the Boston Globe recognizes Chumley's.

F. Scott Fitzgerald enjoyed a few at Chumley's...

...as did Robert Coates

Famous artist Betty Ferguson was a Chumley's patron.

Recognize Ray Kelly.  I guess everyone was safe that night.
