Background: Sephiroth......the great Sephiroth. The main villain typw character in Final Fantasy 7, is somewhat of a mystery....where he came from, what his purpose is....etc. He's very powerful and wields the long-bladed sword Masamune. He is an extremely dark character, very quiet, much due to his pain. After discovering Shin-ra's imvolvement with his past and his future, Sephiroth disappears for several years only to later reappear to attempt to destroy the world. It is still a mystery if he succeeded in his task or not. Not much else is known about him, all that remains of him is the memories of those who fought him and lived.
The Controversy: Most people think he went crazy and was
in general a bad person. I on the other hand think his actions were justified completely.
The whole world totally fucked him over, Shin-ra mostly but society in general. He went
around saving everyone as a member of SOLDIER, only to be taken advantage of and left to
sit by and deal with it. If that happened to me, and the world rightfully belonged to my
people, id take it back as well, and sure as hell not let some corporation steal it from
me. Yes he was a bit extreme with his actions, but can you really blame him? Everyone says
how evil he was, but it was the world that made him that way. Hes completely hardened on
the inside and the outside, due to the corruption of society. So see, he isnt bad, just
misunderstood.
Why he was so
kool: Well, he was the dark character, the perfect person to play the badguy in the
game, a
misunderstood person who was screwed by others, just like teh reast of us. Just about any
person can ralate to him at least once in their lifetime. Cause hey, the world sucks, and
so it di dfor him as well. Next we have appearence, definitely a well drawn character,
basic black to match his image, and the whole trenchcoat thingy too? very nice. Just the
whole ambiance when he was there was perfect and added so well to the stroyline of the
game. That and he didetn let anyone get in his way, now that i admire. In general, who
couldnt look up to this character?
ok....so sometimes he overdoes it.........but he means well......really..............
