Butch & Gary show Michael
how REAL music is made

CREEM Magazine sez:
Thus, an astonishing early post-punk rush, purportedly emanating late nites from Roy Acuff's Nashville studio, unbeknownst to the neighborhood cowboys sippin' Pabst at the local bars. This motherfuckin' disc smokes BIG rock! I couldn't believe my bleedin' ears! Musta been a hillbilly hook-up with some crystal-meth merchant nearby, I am sure! Songs are short, crisp, ballsy, defiantly devious. Drumming is so very mindblowingly solid. Mr. Hopper belts his bewilderingly bawdy banter, on top of his crack band's buzzcockian blast. Fave picks: "MIX ME UP" & "I'M OPEN." A stone gas classic! Five thumbs up!!!!!
