OEG Bantams

Updated 1/19/02

The fall of 2001 was the first time I owned Old English Game Bantams. My birds shown below are young cockerels of the Ginger-red variety. They were hatched about Feb. 5, 2001, and came from Mr. G. L. Louderback of Blue Ridge Bantams. There is a link to his farm's website below. Thank you GL for the opportunity!

OEG's come in many, many color varieties. My favorites are Ginger-reds, Crele, and Quail. Some beautiful examples are shown below.

I regret to say that I must part with all my chickens. This is due to a decision of the farm owner, he was shutting down the petting zoo and wanted all animals removed. It was a hard decision, but my beloved OEGB's sadly had to be among those sold off. My best roo is residing with a friend and has a great home. I hope to resume with this breed when I'm able to keep more birds.
