As a
horseplayer for 18 years
I have gone through many of the
same cycles all horseplayers seem to traverse. My early
years were spent looking for an easy "add up the numbers"
method for picking winners. As I matured as a handicapper
I abandoned that notion
deciding it was just wishful thinking. I got to be a pretty
fair handicapper in those days. Good enough that I've had several articles published in American Turf Monthly and several other National magazines. Then something happened.
Andrew Beyer stepped forward with his Revolutionary
Speed Rating Method for thoroughbreds. He proved that you could
assign a single numerical number to a horses recent performance.
In the process, he changed Thoroughbred handicapping forever.
And also in the process, he gave me the key.
The key to apply similar
principles to harness racing. As a result of reading
how Beyer developed his "figs" a though came
to mind. Actually it hit me like a ton of bricks!
A simple formula incorporating the most important aspects of the horses
last race. Would it work?
I remember the first few races at Yonkers
I applied my new formula. As I viewed
the results, my pulse must have doubled!
Winner after winner often at monstrous prices! Exacta's even
a cold Triple! It was like a dream come true. Next night,
Same results!
Next-The Same! And on and on!
My next thought was whether this same
principlewould work at other tracks, I had to see. Pocono, Monticello,
Freehold- They were all the same! Winners Everywhere!
That was 5 years ago. Since that time I have kept the Ratings,
and the "formula" to myself. I've learned to to "read" into
the ratings now. Catching
most of the winners and avoiding most of the losers. Also, recently,
in an effort to protect the formula I shared it with one other person. She
is now
a very competent handicapper and only has 3 months experience! She cashes over
50% of her wagers! And you can do the same. Heres how.
With the Internet I've decided to share my findings.
But, while I will share my ratings. The actual Formula
is not for sale at any price.
Here's what I will do however. Everyday I will give
you Ratings free for at least one NY, NJ
Harness Track (Other tracks are availabe for a nominal fee).
Also, we will make available
our reports on how to best use our Ratings. We will also
provide you with one Free "Best Bet" Daily.
We sincerely want to help you become a better handicapper.
And we know our Ratings will do that for you as they have for us.
