How do I transmit data files to XP Billing Solutions?
What formats do you accept?
XP Billing Solutions accepts a wide range of media formats, including
FTP, email, Modem-transfer to BBS, Floppies, CD-ROMs and more. Data
formats vary, but we are very flexible. File formats commonly used
in the development of billing applications at XP Billing Solutions
are: 1) XML 2) delimited 3) fixed length 4) print image Of the above
formats, the most preferred language is XML. Not only is XML easy
to develop with, it is flexible and lends itself well to web development
and Electronic Bill Presentation and Payment (EBPP). XP Billing
Solutions accepts delimited data formats i.e. comma, quote, pipe
etc. and fixed length file format as well. XP Billing Solutions
can also accept preformatted data files, more commonly known as
print image. One of the key elements necessary to successfully develop
and deploy a statement application quickly and accurately is a complete
file mapping (or file layout) for client provided input data. This
document is essential as it defines records for such attributes
as: field content, type, field length, special instructions or comments,
etc. Business rule specifications should be defined, understood
by both client and XP Billing Solutions and documented prior to
any programming. This will aid programming efforts as logic is applied
to the application.
How long does it take to mail my bills?

the USPS?
XP Billing Solutions provides detailed reporting and a project
confirmation for each bill run. Also, you can track the progress
of each of your projects through DP Auto/Connect, our client web
site.
What reports are available?
In addition to the standard USPS 3602 delivery report, XP Billing
Solutions offers online production tracking through DP Auto/Connect.
Custom reports are also available as needed.
What if I don't want a Dallas or Oxnard postmark on my
bills?
With a bulk mail permit, we can print your own postage indicia
on envelopes. The indicia features your organization name and location.
This type of mail does not get postmarked.
Who will I work with at XP Billing Solutions?
After an Account Executive answers your questions, details your
unique specifications, and sets up your account, you will be assigned
a Project Manager. The Project Manager is your single point of contact,
acting as your advocate and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness
of your projects throughout the production process.
How long will it take to get started?
Streamlined applications like CityBill can be up and running in
a matter of days. Custom applications, and EBPP, typically take
4-8 weeks to execute. This time is required for complete testing
of custom-designed billing statements or web sites. How do I get
started? Just call us toll-free at 1-888-555-6680 or contact us
