Angel Ozzy

Ozzy was at least 9 years old when he died. I don't know the exact date of birth because Ozzy was a rescue that I kept.

Ozzy came to me over 3 years ago, he came from a local vet. Apparently his owners didn't want him anymore, and brought him into the clinic to be euthanized. They called me after about 2 weeks. Since Ozzy was older, no one wanted him. The vet adopted him out 3 times and he came back every time.

He was MOUTHY, and people assumed he was aggressive. So...when I got him home, he claimed the kitchen as his *room* and he stayed with us until he died. He was a goofy, silly, loving dog...who LOVED to squeeze tennis balls in his mouth. He never played catch (he was too old for that, he thought) but would rather steal a ball and sit in the middle of the yard, happily munching on it.

He was a wonderful friend. Always well mannered, an NEVER an ounce of trouble. We loved his silly head, and how he would smile at us in the morning. He was always allowed to go upstairs, but he himself chose rather to stay downstairs in his *room* (the kitchen).

I will miss my silly Ozmonster, his absence is glaringly apparent in my home. And in my heart.
