Enhancers

Stores and Magical Items

Magical Items:

Magical items (weapons, armor, enchanted jewlery, etc.) are available in LoTA at different strengths; +1, +2, +3, and +4. Stealth and Perception enhancers may not exceed +2. If two enhancers are used in an AA then each enhancer may not exceed +1.
There are five different forms for enhancing an item. They are Hit, Defense, Attack, Stealth, and Perception. A +1 to hit, for example adds a 1 to the sides of a dice roll. A +1 to damage adds a 1 to the damage of your hit on your opponent. A +1 to defense takes away 1 point of damage to your own hit points. A +1 for stealth takes away 1 from the roll of a target on a perception roll. A +1 for perception adds a 1 to the targets perception roll, (+2, +3 and +4 are figured the same).
Magical items may only be created at the rate of +1 per 20 dice sides of the registered creator (for example: a 2d60 registered weapons smith may create 3 +1 items/week 1 +3 item/week or 1 +2 an 1 +1 items/week). All magical weapons must be registered with the Chancellor of Commerce to be legal, and must be listed in the profile. If a magical item changes hands for any reason, it must be re-registered with the Commerce Department in order to be considered legal in the LoTA.

Spells:

Each mage or magic user in LoTA may request 1 free +1 spell to add to their Spell Book(Tomes). Spells that have been enhanced must be listed in the magic user's profile. Spells may be created at the same rate as other magical items at +1 for every 20 dice of the creator per week. A maximum of +4 is allowed for any spell unless the enhanced spell is used for stealth or for perception.

Hardened items are available to any member of LoTA at a cost of 1000 gold in addition to the original price of the weapon. This process does add to the modifiers already involved. Items that are hardened require extra to break them. To break a hardened item you must roll double 1's. If you possess a hardened item, this must be stated in your profile.
