We welcome you to one of the first online(internet) exhibitions of tree trunk face art from Mavuradona Zimbabwe. This outstanding art form is here introduced to you for your pleasure. Pieces are typically 30 cm high, weighing between 3 to 5 kgs. We hope these photos best express the true nature of this art.

The art of tree trunk carving is as old as some african cultures. We are lucky enough to have a few of these craftsmen left in Zimbabwe; who can "talk" through a trunk piece. We have decided to bring the art of trunk faces, a interpretation unique to our part of Africa.

Prices are $50 per standard 3-5kg piece(shipping excluded); shipping is about $10 to Europe/North America. Our small piece is $30 per 1kg piece as per individual preference(Shipping $6). Photos of actual pieces can be e-mailed at short notice.
