VIKES, STANGS LOSE

     A furious late rally helped the Pinecrest boys' soccer team defeat Jack Britt, 3-1, and keep the team's perfect Mid-Southeastern Conference record in tact.
     Max Brenner scored two goals in the final seven minutes of regulation to give the Patriots (15-2-3, 11-0) the victory.
     The Patriots honored nine members of the Class of 2009 on Senior Night including, Matt Carriker, Brent Foote, Tyler Herbst, John Kropp, Eric Parziale, Michael Pigg, Matt Scott, Tyler Sweed and Brandon Wilkins.
     Jack Britt broke a scoreless tie midway in the second half, only to see the Patriots rally for three goals to secure the win.
     Ryan Osterman tied the score off an assist from Aaron Sroker with 13 minutes left in the game.
     Stroker and Eric Parziale assisted on Brenner's goals.
     Pinecrest travels to Seventy-First for its next game Wednesday.
