Leslie sat restrained and scared in the bed. She had a million thoughts racing through her head. What would Aj do when he came back? Was Nick on his way? Would she ever see Nick again? Her train of thought was broken as Aj came back in the room. He walked up to her , “ Lay down on your back.”
Leslie started to cry again , “ Aj please…don’t do this.”
“Bitch! Shut up and do what I said! Lay down!” Leslie did as she was told. Aj climed on the bed and straddled her . He started to unbutton her shirt as she just looked the other way. He kissed her chest, beginning to work his was down. He slowly took off his pants and shirt until he was just in his boxers. The next few minutes were the worst Leslie had ever experienced in her life. Aj raped her. Leslie didn’t do anything to fight him for fear of what he would do to her. When he was done, he sat down beside her. Leslie was crying still. She didn’t know what to do. She didn’t even know what to think. Aj turned over and saw that she was crying. He leaned over and came face to face with her. As she turned, they looked each other dead in the eye. Leslie saw something sort of click in AJ. His face changed and the biggest look of regret began to take the place of the previous one of jealousy. He looked at Leslie and saw the amount of fear that he had put in her. All of a sudden AJ started to cry. He took the handcuffs off of her and sat in the chair beside the bed. He put his head in his hands and said as he cried, “ Oh my God what have I done?” He looked over at Leslie and went to hug her, “ I am so sorry. Leslie I don’t know what I’ve done. I was so jealous and I wanted you and I just….”
Leslie saw that he was truly sorry, she hugged him back, “ Aj it’s ok. You didn’t know what you were doing. It’s ok…” The two sat there together for the next twenty minutes in each other’s arms until they heard the front door slam open. “ Nick!”
As Nick ran in the room, he dove at AJ. The two crashed to the floor as Leslie screamed for Nick to get off. As Leslie stood there, too shocked to move, Kevin came running in the room. He saw AJ and Nick in the floor and went to pull Nick away before he killed AJ. “ Yo Nick man let him go! Nick!” Kevin pulled Nick away and held him back while AJ sat in the corner, bloody and breathless. Nick turned around and saw Leslie still standing there. She just stared at the three guys and slid down. She sat in the floor as Nick came over to her. He sat down and took her in his arms.
“Baby are you ok? God I was so scared..” He hugged her tight and looked to see where Kevin was. Kevin and AJ were talking. Nick stood up again and pointed at AJ. “Man..what the fuck were you doing! You sick bastard! You’ll pay for this..oh you’ll pay…” Just then they all heard sirens outside. Several cops came in and swarmed around AJ. They put handcuffs on him and escorted him out to a police car.
Before he left, AJ looked back at Leslie, “I’m sorry.” Leslie looked down as they took AJ away. As the police cars left, Nick, Leslie, and Kevin followed them to the station. They didn’t know what would happen to AJ….
