The Divine Situation Comedy

This started out with a couple of blank verse poems about famous people (one fictional) in the after life. I had put one in Heaven and another in Hell. They were written without the intent of being part of a single piece of work. Then I got to thinking, "Hey all I need to do is put somebody in Purgatory and I've got my own miniature divine comedy." So I wrote a poem about Purgatory and an introductory poem, giving the set of poems you see here.

I referred in the first paragraph to this as a "miniature divine comedy". Even with the diminuitive qualifier, this is an unduly grandiose description. Yes, it is smaller in scope than Dante's great work, but it must also be said that I lack his talent and vision (although I am a bit funnier.:) Hence, The Divine Situation Comedy.
