What is
NASSA WA?
NASSA WA stands for National Australian Super Stock Association of Western Australia. NASSA WA was formed to ensure that Super Stock
racers had a professional forum that they could utilise so as to maintain this exciting form of sedan racing. Membership is made up of racers, crewmembers, ANDRA stewards, and other interested parties.
Super Stock is the premier sportsman sedan class in Drag Racing for naturally aspirated vehicles. Super Stock is a group two ANDRA bracket,
the basics of this means that it is handicapped racing dependant on the weight of the car and the amount of modifications allowed. The
handicaps (indexes) are then set as an average of every car nationally in a particular class twice yearly.
This bracket is for sedans only. Hosting a variety of full bodied classes, eighteen in all, that range from A/Street class Australian cars with
speeds around 130mph/210kph to Gas sedans with performances around 170mph/270kph.
