Welcome to the Beats of Harmony Bahá'i Youth Workshop Web page, or BOHBYW for short. The BOHBYW has been in existence since April 1st, 2001. We've performed in many parades including the MLK Jr. Parade. We currently have 22 members from the DFW area ranging in age from 6-18. Our four current coordinators, who are dedicated to serving us, and promoting our develompent, are as involved in the well-being of the workshop as we, the members, are.

We Teach the Message of Baha'u'llah, the prophet founder of the Bahá'i Faith, through these methods:

• Step-Dancing
• Dances
• Caning
• Dramatic readings and reenactments
• And even through our fellowship and unity.

What Is The Bahá'í Youth Workshop?

"The Bahá'í Youth Workshop is a group of young people, who, through the performing and dramatic arts, convey messages of universal peace, unity in diversity and spiritual awareness. Their spirit of cooperation and boundless enthusiasm never fails to capture the hearts of audiences, young and old alike, throughout the country. Through a firm belief in prayer and divine assistance, hours of exhausting practice and performances, pain from sore muscles and nervous stomachs are overlooked or entirely erased when afforded the opportunity to teach the Faith of Bahá'u'lláh. Although the performing aspect of a Bahá'í Youth Workshop has brought great attention to the group, they have always taken pride and found enjoyment in delivering the Bahá'í message, which they consider their honor and their reward." -Oscar DeGruy
