No Name Face
Can we call it a movement now? On this, their debut, Malibu's Lifehouse make a convincing grab for Creed's chalice of spiritually inclined rock. Cosmopolitan leader Jason Wade is only 20 years old - young enough to think he knows it all but good enough to sing like he does. The band follows him along the stations of post-grunge, from the "Jeremy"-quoting "Quasimodo" to the string-laden "Everything" finale.
