Alisa Schiff (YPW's Assistant Program Director, Musical Director and instructor in Voice, Music, Acting and Dialects) holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from the State University of New York at Fredonia. She has performed in a variety of venues, including: the Downstairs Cabaret Theatre, Jekyll Island Musical Theatre - the official state theatre of Georgia, has toured nationally with the American Family Theatre and the Centenary Stage Company, where she appeared in NUNSENSE and THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. An accomplished cabaret singer she frequently performs with Vocal Ease a Arts Outreach program in New York City. Alisa served as the Production Stage Manager for the world premiere production of DANCE WITH ME directed by Tony winning Director, Vivian Matalon.

Ms. Schiff is the Musical Director/Associate Program Director of the Young Performers Workshop [Michael Blevins, Director]. She has served as Musical Director and Associate Director for Hunter College Elementary School production of THE BOY FRIEND and lent her assistance to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center's Theatre Academy production of TOM SAWYER for NJ Public Schools. Other engagements include Musical Direction for the Original Musical COUNT TO TEN produced by the Big & Loud Theatre of Rodchester, NY. She also coaches voice privately, specializing in young people.
