02/27/05, 3:34 AM: Holy potato spuds! It's been way too long since the last update! So, nothing new is really up (except for the new entry page design and a scribble teaser of future YnM fan-stuffs by me in FanArt. :P)
So you're up to speed, here's the current situation: BuddhaFrog now goes to a different school than me, and MorningStar and I unfortunately had a falling out (even Buddhafrog has had a bit of falling out with MorningStar)...so now it's just me, Holli on the site! :P Well, anyway...
Well, I can't promise anything new immediately since I'm too busy (even far more than before!), but I do plan to completely take up my old hobbies of drawing and writing for the YnM fandom! :P So, check that out and expect for some sections to be renovated.
Well, I hope all you English speaking fans have been enjoying the YnM manga as it is slow released by Viz. I do have things I don't like about Viz's version of the YnM manga, but all in all, it isn't too bad. :P Okay, laterz!

07/20/04, 3:14 AM: Well, if you haven't read or heard by now, a few days ago, it's now been officially announced by Viz that they have licensed and are releasing the Yami no Matsuei manga! Under the title "Descendants of Darkness" (like the English title given to the anime), the first volume will be released August 18! That's BuddhaFrog's 21st b-day then too, to boot! Hoo-RAH!!!
Well, expect new fanfiction from us soon! MorningStar already updated her fanfiction on fanfiction.net a few days ago, and it will appear here soon, as well as some new fanfic from me eventually. Bye!

Well, MorningStar and I have been trying to move into a house (still am), and the 2 of us and BuddhaFrog had a lot to do to end the school year with finals and moving (BuddhaFrog lives nearby in our college town too, but not with us). So, anyway, an update!

04/26/04, 9:25 PM: At the moment I'm still busy with schoolwork, but I'm taking a break. To keep ya up to speed, our doujinshi section of Images has been taken down, due to the fact that we don't want to run out of space anytime soon on this site. Don't be sad though! The doujin scans are now at our affiliate site, KatCom! When I'm not busy again (probably this summer), look forward to me scanning more of the doujin we had, and for it to appear on KatCom!
But, there is something new on our site now, besides the news of taking down our doujinshi. There is one more scan of black and white manga in Images from Volume 6 of the YnM manga. Enjoy!

03/18/04, 1:34 AM: Interesting news! According to Anime News Network on the 17th, Viz has not officially announced any information about the release of the YnM manga, but you'll see it is listed on their copyright page if ya check it out.
So, it's copyrighted anyway. And that slip/hint in the magazine...I think it's pretty safe to say that YnM manga is licensed...and hopefully will be released by Viz soon in the near future!

01/26/04, 11:52 PM: Tipped off by an email, we here at TSWTD have been informed that Yami no Matsuei has been licensed! Not by TokyoPop, but by Viz. So far, the only evidence I have found is the reference in an email we received, to a magazine (Animerica, Anime & Manga Monthly, February '04 Valentine Special); this new info was noted in a response to a letter written to the magazine about how they had left Muraki off the best villains list. ^_^ Here is the exact passage from the magazine letter reply:

...At least we can tell you that the Descendants of Darkness manga will be published by Viz starting this spring.

Apparently YnM is going to be published under the same name used for the U.S. release of the anime. Viz is a good company, but is notorious for changing word art in manga from Japanese to English, which is highly unnecessary. They have also flipped some popular titles too; Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha for a couple examples. Hopefully YnM won't be, considering how recent shonen titles by Viz have been left unflipped (Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, Shaman King, etc...)
Another nice point is that Viz sells the cheapest manga; it use to be the opposite, so quality of paper of the manga may have decreased.
Well, I'm busy with schoolwork, but I will try to keep you posted on more evidence and news reports of whether YnM really is licensed (looks like it, to be mentioned in this magazine, published by Viz themselves). But so far, no online news site has had any mention of YnM manga being licensed and published.

Plus, hey, if ya want to read our fics and the site is down, ya can go to another site...and maybe we'll get more readers too if we spread the love! *grins* Besides, all of our fics are available on FF.net already, just censored. :P So our fics being on other sites is nothing new!

7:47 PM: So...I had a nice Christmas. But, nevermind that!
Holli has a friend. She calls him Articulate Chris! LOL Any hoo, Chris went to Japan for a semester, actually the one that just ended, and is actually on his way back home to the U.S. as I type this! (He's leaving on the 27th, and I think Japan is a day ahead). Anyway, Holli asked Articulate Chris to buy her the YnM sketchbook, providing him with a picture of the cover, a description, and even an ISBN number! And a few weeks ago, he informed Holli that he got it for her! YAY!!!!
So, expect new scans of art from when I get my sketchbook the next time I see Chris after our winter break, or when he ever makes it back to out college town. :P
There is a new scribble in the first part of the rpg "Strawberry Ice Cream...sinfully delicious!" by MS and me in Extras! A funny scribble of Tsuzuki, Hisoka and Ice Cream! The scribble will be in fanart of Fanworks very shortly, as well as another one of my scribbles. Enjoy!

We have a new affiliate, the ever cool KatCom!
Also, due to the fact that I don't want to find out if my latest artwork is pornographic or not and get kicked off Angelfire, my newest piece of fanart is now at KatCom!
And once again, at KatCom, my YnM doujinshi is being hosted, based off a fic that was written by Starza (you can find these fics at FF.net in the YnM section (I think it's in the R section and is actually 3 fanfics titled Illusions, Dream, and Forever in that order. Check that out, or do it in a simpler way by visting Starza's Bio page there). Only 2 pages of the doujinshi are available and I don't have a cover yet, but the cover and new pages will probably come into existence after my finals are over during winter break later this month.
So, not too many real updates for this site, so make sure to just go check out my new material at KatCom!

So, I made this fanart, but just went through Angelfire's Terms & Conditions, and I don't think I can post it. It's not pornographic (hey, ya don't see anything in my picture, it's not real and is a drawing, and I wouldn't draw anything really extreme anyway), but it is a pic of Tsuzuki x Hisoka intense intimacy. :( Well, BuddhaFrog and MorningStar already left for the holiday, so I'll ask them what they think when they get back. If I can't post it, I guess it'll be for our own private collections, unless ya guys email about wanting to see it and I'll send it. LOL, or someone can host it for me if they want if they have a web provider that lets them.

11/12/03, 8:54 PM: New doujinshi scans and a couple small manga scans from volume 9 in Images! The new doujin scans have made me notice how much room they take up; only 11 pages of 27 are scanned, not counting extra pics and the covers, and they already take a big hunk of our space here at Angelfire. So, I probably will not be scanning the first book since it's available scanlated at Sakura-Crisis.Net. If Sakura-Crisis ever scanlates this second book we have, I'll probably take it down. And that may be awhile. :P So, enjoy it while it's here.
I am currently making a doujinshi of my own (not my story though; when it's all right with the author and I have enough of it made, I'll show it off and tell you who wrote the story! lol). If anyone is interested in hosting it, let me know. No rush though; I only have one finished page of a 3 parter and I'm a slow artist (plus y'know, life in general gets in the way: college, finding a job, the anime club, my family, my friends, my cat).

2:15 AM: A whole bunch of new color manga in Images! All except one are from my (Holli's) YnM character book. The one pic not from the book is my pencilboard. That's it for color images unless someone donates or I get some other YnM merchandise; the only reason I put these specific color manga images available on this site, is b/c I wanted to provide the best possible. All other general YnM sites that have manga images already have these pics, so I made a point of scanning these pics as well as I could, as well as larger than most other pics available on other YnM sites. If I were to provide anymore color images, they would be from the manga volumes themselves, and not as big. Since that's the case, other YnM sites can provide those pics in bigger size and quality. :P If I do scan anything color from my manga volumes, it may just be the covers, since doing anything else is just silly. Enjoy the images!
