In the span of two months, the UP Los Baños Immersion Team 2003 conducted developmental programs at Barangay II - Poblacion, Alaminos, Laguna. With the Sangguniang Barangay, they were able to plan, organize, and implement activities that would respond to the needs of the community. In respect with their major, the functional unit was the family. To cater the needs across the life span, they had activities for the children, youth, adults, and community. The team's objectives and performance target was divided into four groups namely: (a.) Child, (b.) Youth, (c.) Adults, and (d.) Community. For each group, the team provided an activity all with the aid of cooperating agencies, making the experience beneficial both to the host barangay and the Team.
