Goldendoodles |
"The Best Dog of All" Goldendoodles get their name from their mixed
heritage - Golden Retriever and Poodle. Golden-Doodles are a hybrid dog, a first
generation cross, and as such they exhibit ‘hybrid vigor’. This is the
saying in animal breeding referring to the fact that the first cross between two
unrelated purebred lines is healthier and grows better than that of
either parent line. These puppies take on the best of both breeds. So the a Goldendoodle is healthier, smarter, making a extra friendly
family pet. www.bestdogofall.com
This dog is intelligent, affectionate, and very easy to train.
Excellent with children, out door walks, games, Frisbee, a good all around
friend and companion. Dogs of this nature are especially good natured and
loyal. The AKC has ranked
dogs according to popularity in North America. The Golden
Retriever ranks 4th and the Poodle ranked 5th, out of 148
breeds. Stanley Cohen ranks 79 dog breeds in order of intelligence in his
book “The Intelligence of Dogs”, Poodles scored 2nd and Golden
Retrievers were 4th. The Goldendoodle hybrid cross between these two
parent breeds are terrific family dogs, friendly, intelligent,
affectionate and easy to train.
