The Odessa Community Day Care Center currently has the following job opportunities: Directors position - college degree required, experience with children helpful. Substitute teachers positions - 18 years of age, experience helpful, motivated, engergetic, and love of children required.
The Odessa Community Day Care was organized through the efforts of citizens concerned with providing a heathly learning and living experience for the children of Odessa area. The center's goal is to guide and assist the child in achieving social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.
The center, a corporation within the state of Missouri,is a non-profit organization that is operated from the collection of tuition fees and through donations and contributions from both individiuals and groups in the community.
The day care center is licensed for operation by the state of Missouri. Under this license the state determines the maximum number of children to be served, staff/child ratio by age, health and safety policy, staff qualifications, building and equipment/furniture requirements, educational goals and other operational policies.
The center is run by a Board of Directors. All parents and concerns citizens are well to attend board meetings. The center employs a full time director to oversee daily activities and operation of the day care center.
Hours of operation: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Our doors are open to parents/guardians at all times, unless they are subject to a court orer restricting access to the child. The center is closed the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day - the center will close at 1:00 pm, Christmas Day. If the holiday falls on a Saturday, the center will be closed on the preceding Friday. If the holiday falls on a Sunday the center will be closed on the following Monday.
Tuition and Fees: Enrollment fee - $25 (must be paid on or before first day of attendance) Infant room - full time tuition only - $110 weekly. Two year old room - $85 weekly $18.50 daily Full time tuition ( five days per week ) - $80 weekly. Part time tuition ( 3 or 4 days per week ) - $17.50 daily. Before and after school - kindergarten through grade 5 - $10. Before OR after school - kindergarten through grade 5 - $7. Drop in tuition - $17.50 daily
