Extra Added Attraction: Tour of vintage aircraft museum after our lunch. The tour will start at 2:00pm at the Creve Coeur Airport complex.
Lou Mavros has made contact with the museum and made arrangements for our retiree group to tour a very large collection of vintage (WW I era and later) aircraft at a reduced price below the normal tour price.
This is one of the largest collections of old aircraft in the world (right in our own backyard). It is contained in three large buildings at the Creve Coeur Airport complex. All of the aircraft have been reconditioned and are maintained in flying condition. There are some which are "in work" as well.
This is an excellent opportunity which you will enjoy. Cost of the tour is $5 each and will be collected at the lunch.
Directions to the museum from Grappa Grill are as follows:
The Creve Coeur Airport is located on your left just after crossing the new 364 bridge heading towards IS270.
