I am involved in two organizations on campus. One is PRSSA. PRSSA is the Public Relations Student Society of America. It helps students build contacts with other PR majors and PR professionals as well. Another organization I am involved in is Lambda Pi Eta. This is the communications honor society at CMSU. Through this organization I have had the experience of being a Communication Department ambassador. With this position you give tours to potential communication students visiting the campus and you also promote awareness of Lambda Pi Eta among current communication students. I have also had the experience of helping put together a promotional video for the CMSU communication department with fellow LPE members.
Away from campus I have a lot of other interests. I play intramural softball every chance I get. I enjoy reading, music, and movies. One of my favorite hobbies is clogging (clog dancing). I have been clogging and traveling to competitions for 17 years. Since I began school in Warrensburg, I have been dancing with the Kansas City Klogghoppers. Not only do we compete, but we perform at miscellaneous events throughout the Kansas City area. If you have never heard of clogging, take a look at the feet below.
