Good News. The long-awaited 2003 PLHL Hockey Cards are now out. Click on the link above to view them.

Benny Meyer, center for Brad's team disgraced himself, his team and the entire PLHL during the games of March 1 by becoming the first player in the history of the PLHL to wear a helmet during a game. Ben decided to wear the helmet after injuries to Luke Meyer worried him. "With all these head injuries going around," Ben said, "You can never be to careful." All other members of the PLHL were thoroughly disgusted with the display, but Derek put it best, saying, "Benny, I'm going to kick your ass."

Also on March 1, Derek ended his consecutive games streak at 64. Let the record book show that he missed the first game on March 1 to attend the St. Charles Community College's production of To Kill A Mockingbird. That's a damn shame.

Ok. The night hockey of November 29 did not work out so well, mostly thanks to Luke Meyer getting knocked out of commission during the second game. Nevertheless, the season did officially begin on February 2, 2003. As I've got a bunch of school work, I won't be able to update as often as I'd like, but I'll at least try to get the stats up here. Hopefully, we'll be able to get pictures taken the next time we play so I can update the other junk.

The 2002-2003 PLHL season officially begins on November 29, 2002, at 9:30 p.m. Here's looking forward to another great season! The PLHL has a new home this year. We've said so long to the Bible Baptist Church Parking Lot and moved to the Mac E. Coverdell School Parking Lot.
