Sleep, where are you? Sophie's been sick with some nasty coughing illness for 3 days now. She's breastfeeding CONSTANTLY, which isn't really condusive to a good night's sleep. Every time I move she wakes up. All day, she naps fitfully; as soon as I move her to lay her down, she's awake. When she's not nursing, she's wanting to be held. I haven't had my "alone time" in 3 days. I'm sooo tired. And I have my period, too. I'm a prime candidate for the infection she's carrying. Have you ever noticed that when you're really, truly tired, you can't remember what it was like to have energy and be welll rested? Ugh. |
