Commissioner Responsibilities
The role of the League Commissioner is to chair the league meetings, disseminate information to league members, enter all trades and free agent transactions through the leader tool, and serve as the focal point for communication between the league and the Grandstand offices and staff. He or she will also be responsible for submission of Trade Review Committee ("TRC") request forms, interpret rules on a league level, and act as mediator for internal disputes between members. In all cases where the commissioner cannot resolve the problem, he or she will ask the GSFS staff for help in resolving the problem.

Assistant Commissioner Responsibilities
To insure continuity in meetings, each league will elect an Assistant Commissioner whose sole responsibility will be to conduct the weekly meeting in the event that the Commissioner cannot attend. The assistant commissioner will also take the responsibility of handling objections to trades, and submission of the TRC request, if the commissioner is directly involved in the trade. In the event that a commissioner will not be available for an extended period of time due to illness, vacation, or a family crisis, the Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner may petition the GSFS contact to arrange for the Leader Tool to be temporarily switched to insure the business of the league can be conducted in a timely manner.
