Laura Harris, 25, was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on November 20th, 1976. A talented actress with a taste for quirky character driven material, Harris began acting in radio dramas and animation series at the age of five in her native Canada.

Harris is presently working on the new Christopher Guest comedy, "A Mighty Wind", starring Eugene Levy, Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, and Christopher Guest.

She is also currently featured in Rocket Chicken International Productions dark comedy 'Come Together'. Written and directed by Jeff MacPherson, this digital movie about an afflicted greeting card writer, Ewan, whose venture to recapture his true love, Charlotte (Harris), becomes hindered by the sudden appearance of a 16 year-old Lolita, is a partly improvisational feature starring Tygh Runyan and newcomer Eryn Collins. It also marks Harris' producing debut.

Harris, known for her performance in Robert Rodriguez's 'The Faculty', alongside Elijah Wood and Josh Hartnett, has also starred in MGM's 'Just the Ticket' with Andy Garcia and Andy MacDowell, Lions Gate's 'The Highwayman' with Jason Priestley, ' Suicide Kings' with Christopher Walken, Jay Mohr, and Denis Leary, and the cult festival hit 'Kitchen Party' with Scott Speedman. Other feature film credits include Rene Daalder's 'Habitat' with Balthazar Getty, Mark Sawer's 'So Hard Done By' (formerly 'Skyscraper'), and 'The Manor' with Peter O'Toole and Greta Scaachi.

Harris can also be seen in the outrageous comedy 'Going Greek'. Written and directed by Justin Zackham, Harris plays Paige, love interest to Jake, played by Dylan Bruno, in a crazy fraternity romp that pays ode to the brotherhood, 'Animal House', and those hard to remember college years.

Harris' numerous television credits include appearances on such series as 'The Outer Limits', 'Poltergeist: The Legacy', and 'The X-Files', as well as the movies 'Kidnapping in the Family' for ABC, 'Murder At My Door', on Fox, 'Runaway Girl' on NBC, and 'For Those Who Hunt the Wounded Down' on the CBC. She was also the voice of Bright Eyes on the long-running 'My Little Pony' cartoon series , and was a member of the ensemble cast of Nickelodeon's teenage soap opera 'Fifteen'.

Harris' personal goals include making the perfect fantasy film, mastering the cello, knitting a wearable sweater, raising 6 children on an organic zucchini farm, and overcoming the intense anxiety she feels when leaving outgoing messages.

Laura Harris is represented by John Carrabino at Catch 23 Entertainment and Kami Putnam at the Gersh Agency.
