"God damn alarm clock," Said a tired and crabby Shane Price. He sat up for a second, then glanced at the clock. "This sucks," He thought as he got up and rubbed his face, shaking the sleep off of his body. Pulling on some clothes he heard giggling coming from the living room of his dorm. Rolling his eyes, he walked out. Finding his roomate, Cris and his girlfriend watching TV, sitting close to eachother laughing lightly.
"Oh man," Shane whined. "Dudes, it is WAY to early in the morning for you two to be messing around, do you guys ever leave eachother?"
No answer.
"Do you guys have ANY other friends besides me?"
No answer. he laughed at their stupidity and walked over to the refridgerator and took out his bottle of orange juice and took a sip, just wathching the two people be with eachother. Not quite sure what they were watching, he noisly set his bottle down on the kitchen counter, which caused the two to look at him.
"Oh, hey man, when did you get up?"
Shane shook his head. "It's so great to have such an observant roomate, know what I mean?" Shane said mostly to himself, before the phone ringing. "Ya hear that?" Shane laughed, and as he expected, got no response from the two.
"Sup."
"Well hello there Mister Price."
"Back so soon Miss Robin! How was springbreak?"
"Delightful," she responded. "Now enought of that. Ya need a ride to clas?"
"Ohh shit," Shane said.
"Ya forgot?" Bridget took at guess as she played with the telephone cord.
Shane ran a hand through his messy hair. "Yeah," He said, "I'm a little over tired. I'll be ready in five."
"Okie smokey," Bridget said. "Be there in a bit."
Shane hung up the telephone pole and looked out to the living room to see the two lovebirds still all over eachother. Rolling his eyes, he walked back into his room.
"Eh," Shane sighed as he looked out the side of his window. "I did nothing, then come home to Cris and Jill practically fucking. It was kinda pathetic."
"Because you did go anywhere, or cuz you can't do that?"
"Do what?" Shane looked at her.
"I mean like have a girlfriend. It's about time for you too hook up, my man."
"Here? That's a little impossible."
Bridget gave her 'whatever' face. She didn't know exactly what he wanted, but she wanted to help him out. "I think I know what your problem is. You are too nice of a guy."
"Oh, really." Shane laughed. "Last time I checked as I was a moron, from...what a sec who told me that...oh yeah, it was you."
"You know I am just kidding!" Bridget giggled as she drove into a large parking lot.
"Well ya know not everyone can be as mean as Bryan," He joked.
"Hey, now," She laughed as she parked.
Bridget unbuckled her seatbelt and reached into the back of her red cougar and got her school bag, her keys and her books. "You could find, like the perfect relationship, you just gotta try a little bit. I mean I don't know if something...tragic has happened to you where your affraid of the female sex.." She said before Shane's laughter cut her off.
"Well I'm not affraid of females...I just can't afford them," He cracked as they walked. "Besides, Theres no such thing as a "perfect relationship." It's all in the movies, girl." He said.
"You always think that, but then sometimes, somthings can surprise ya." She added.
"Yeah, ok." He agreed. "So how was your break anyway? You went home, didn't you?" Shane started as the two walked into a large buildeing where they had their morning classes.
"Yeah," She responded. "It was pretty good. I got to see all my old friends and everything again. It was no Cancun, but it was pretty cool."
"Sounds fun," Shane mentioned as he opened the door for her.
"It was, for the most part. Me and a close friend of mine talked about plans for the summer and everything." She continued as they walked the long hallways.
"Oh yeah? What kind of plans?"
Bridget pushed a piece of hair behind her ear, and shoved her keys into her pockets of her black capris. "Well, she's having some troubles with her parents, so if it's ok with her rents, we gonna move in together for the summer at my parent's guest house."
"The one on the beach?"
"Yup!"
"Sweet," He said they walked into the larget college classroom.
The two went their separate ways to theirs seats when he noticed a pictured had fallen out of Bridget backpack. Shane picked it up and was about to give it back to her, then he looked at it. On it, were two girls sitting on a larget wooden swing. One of the girls was familiar; it was Bridget. The other one, Shane found himself staring at her. She had long, brown hair with highlights, and from what he could see, what looked like green eyes. She was incrediby tan and had a great body. He hair was hanging on her shoulder of a red spegetti-strap tank top.
"Wow," He thought as she sat down and continued to eye the picture. "Who is this?"
