RoseRiver  Center

About Us

RoseRiver Center is an interdenominational, non-profit Christian Ministry that seeks to assist everyone in their Christian ministry by providing facilities for personal and group retreats. The Center is situated on the Rose River, near Syria, Virginia. Our location on Doubletop Mountain, part of the Blue Ridge Chain, is remote, yet easily accessed by a two-hour drive from either Washington, D.C. or Richmond, Virginia.

On the 150 acre grounds are hiking trails, prayer pathways, campfire circles, trout fishing, a swimming pool and plenty of open space for soccer, volleyball and other lawn activities.

Shenandoah National park, the Skyline Drive, Jefferson's Monticello and Luray caverns are some of the attractions located nearby. The surrounding communities boast numerous antique and craft shops, tea rooms and various historic sites.

In addition to our lodging, dinning and recreation facilities, RoseRiver has many special places for reflection and prayer. Facilities are available for serious intercessors and those seeking the face of the Lord with fasting. We encourage those in pastoral ministry to call us about arrangements and special rates.

Artists and musicians are invited to explore RoseRiver's facilities. There are inspiring places of solitude to create with God and to express the wonder of His character and glory through the arts. Please call us for further information. (540) 923-4670.

RoseRiver is a Ministry of Youth With A Mission - University of the Nations, Virginia. Our dedicated staff are full-time, non-salaried volunteers, who serve here as a ministry team. Please visit our Staff Page to learn more about us.

We continually have spaces and places for volunteers, Please Click Here for more information about how you can be involved in a work day or renovation project.

RoseRiver Center's future is much like the lively Rose River that fronts our property - always on the move. Please Click Here for more information about our plans to restore the Mill, develop a Prayer Mountain and host on-site training classes for Hebrew Studies and Discipleship training. We are already planning for several youth outreach initiatives this summer.

Our Directors are diligent about stewardship of the Lord's provision. Should you be blessed with the gift of giving and like to learn more about our needs, please Click Here.
