ok, ok, you've gotta know something about Kurt Vonnegut. But if you don't, you're in luck because you have just stumbled onto the Kurt Vonnegut page of my site!
Biography
Kurt Vonnegut Jr. has become to be known as one of the greatest writers of all time. He was born in Indiannpolis, IN in 1922 and has one brother and one sister. He took many jobs before finding his true calling--crazy, entertaining, educational, satirical writing. His first book was Player Piano which came out in 1952. Many books, plays and short stories followed and he is probably best known for his anti-war book about the Dresden bombing, Slaughter-House Five. He has also written some under the name Kilgore Trout. The book, Breakfast of Champions was just recently released in movie format in Germany and is expected to come to a theater near you in late summer, early fall. It will star Bruce Willis and Nick Nolte. In his personal life, he has been married twice and has a total of seven children, including his sister's children who he adopted after her death.
And on a personal note, he is the greatest, funniest, bestest (not a word), loviest writer I have ever ever read and I have read much. He weaves his sometimes black, very satirical humor into the most wonderous stories that will take you to the outer reaches of the universe and back. Did I mention that I adore him? Ok, thats what I have to say about that.
