Cooking

We here at room 130 appreciate the culinary arts. We enjoy cooking and have collected a large and well stocked kitchen area, much more effective then our rinky dink build your own kitchen kit we had last year. We cook major meals 2 to 3 times a week, the rest of the weak we eat regular stuff. We tend towards Chinese and Mexican dishes but explore plenty of other items.

For now I am simpy going to list somethings we made, rate them, and eventually add pictures, if you want the recipe, feel free to emails me.

I have arranged things in order of basic type of food (Chinese, Mexican etc).

    AMERICAN

  • Pizza - This went very well, Eugene supplied a crust recipe and I did the seasoning on the crust and the ground beef we used to top it with. Mozzeralla and some cheddar, pepperoni and for the Tom and Eugenes "Unclean" and hopelessly inferior pizza, mushrooms and pineapple. Kill me now. MY pizza was great, Tom and Eugene are still suffering and hiding it well.

    CHINESE

  • Chicken Fried Rice - Damn good. Incredible, we make verything our selves even the seasoning. Bacon, eggs, specially seasoned chicken, our good friend green onion plus some other stuff, not too hard to make, tastes out of this world.
  • Sweet and Sour Pork - Worked better then I thought but still needs help, served on bed of rice.
  • Cream Cheese Wantons - Used store bought wanton shells, fill with cream cheese, made our own sweet and sour sauce from scratch, went very well, tasty, but messy and a lot of work.

    MEXICAN

  • Mexican Pizza - Great way to clean out random stuff in the fridge, cook in oven use tortilla soft shells for crust.
  • Quisadillas - Our however you pronounce them. Taste good, easy to make, what can i say? Put whatever you want in them.

    OTHER

  • Beef Alfredo - WOW awesome, made our own Alfredi Sauce, went great, seasoned cubed beef to perfection, served on pasta bed.
