In addition, DMS interacts closely with its Workers’ Compensation Insurance Carrier to access the most recent materials, (placards, posters, handouts, etc.) to keep safety issues at the forefront of each workday’s activities. DMS management also conducts weekly safety meetings with all Supervisors. Our Supervisors are directed to discuss safety issues with rank and file employees on a daily basis.

DMS emphasizes accident prevention as a common sense approach to employee safety. DMS employees are encouraged to identify any possible safety hazards that may exist in the workplace. Once identified, these hazards are corrected immediately and steps are taken to prevent recurrences.

DMS continually stresses to its’ employees that no job is so important and no service is so urgent that each and every task cannot be performed safely. DMS safety motto is “Service with Safety and Security”. Consequently, DMS Supervisors are now also trained to be observant of any activities in or near our serviced facilities that may be construed as suspicious, and to notify authorities when necessary. In this age of heightened security, it is important that DMS employees participate in the process of worksite security.
