This is a poem was written by a friend I met online. I have the privilege of being allowed to put it on my site and I want to thank John very much. It is a poem I am sure we can all relate to, I know I sure can. Memories are so precious to all of us, and I am so grateful for all the new friends I have received on here and these are my memories. Thank you John for sharing this with everyone.
Memories are made of things that happen every day, Moments as we live them, Things we do or say.
Little bits and pieces of laughter mixed with tears.
Pargraph's and pages written throught the years.
The carefree days of childhood, The growing pains
of youth, a few illusions shattered in the endless search for truth.
The friendships we remember, Mistakes that we
regret, The ending of a love affair, we never could
forget.
Yes! Memories are happenings, each one a different kind . Each one a separate chapter that is printed on the mind.
We can't erase the sadness, or edit out the tears,
We can't undo the wrong we've done, We can't relive the years.
But since memories keep building, each day can be the start, of making new and happy ones, to store within the heart.
I am 58 and a mother of 4 beautiful grown children, which are the highlight of my life and have brought me much tears and also enjoyment. I have been married to a wonderful man for 12 years. His name is Bill. We have been blessed with 7 awesome grandchildren and our first great grandaughter,in which holds their own beauty. We are raising a grandson, Kyle who is 9 and is ADHD. He is the center of our lives and I believe he is the reason for us being here. He is such a joy to have in our lives. Having ADHD isn't easy for a child or the grown up who is trying to cope with it. We have all learned alot from this. These little people need lots of love and understanding. They did not ask for it and all they have is us. When you get that special hug and the "I love you" it makes all the time and effort worth it. I love country music and Pasty Cline is my favorite artist. I collect windchimes, it has such a peaceful sound. I enjoy my computer and the Internet.
Come and meet my family.
I have found some very good friends on here. Some of the friends I have met in person, and some just by chatting with them. I want to say a special thanks to Cathy who I haven't met yet but is making this page for me. We have become close.
