Kyle and His Pokemon's

My Favorite Things

Hi, my name is Kyle and I am 9 years old. I am in the 3rd grade. I have a cat named Precious and a dog named Poncho. I am playing soccer now and Friday, April 14, 2000 was my first day. It was fun but hard work. I am not used to all the moves yet and when I got home, I fell asleep.

I love Pokemon and Wrestling. I have 9 photo books full of Pokemon and I would love to answer any questions you have about them. My favorite song is "Larger Than Life" by the Backstreet Boys. My favorite color is "green" and I love Pizza and Ramen Noodles. I live with my grandparents and my favorite take out place is "McDonald's".

I have ADHD. It is a disease that no one can control. ADHD= Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. My mind goes faster than my body. I have short tension spans and I get hyper without my medicine. I have a hard time concentrating on one thing. I can't stay at any task for a long period of time. My grades have improved and the counseling is going quite well. I need to have a lot of love and understanding.

Just recently Kyle had an asthma attack. It scared us all. He had a nose bleed several times and that didn't help any. Kyle is a real trooper. He has endured so much. I say, Hats off to the young man.

KYLE'S GRANDPARENTS point of view: Having a child with ADHD has taught me alot. It was very hard at first being new to it. We had to get educated along with him. But he is the love of our lives and we haven't regretted it one bit. These little ones that have this disease didn't ask for this situation and can't understand it themselves. When Kyle comes to us and says "I love you", that is all the thanks we need.

Builders Note: I have met Kyle online through his grandma and I am enjoying his friendship. Making this homepage for him is truly remarkable. I have gotten to know him by doing this homepage and I have learned that he doesn't talk too much but when he does, it is very important to listen to him. He is one of the coolest kids I have met. I can't see what the disease he has does to him, but he is "A OK" in my book. When I first started this page I didn't know anything about this disease, but by hearing what his grandmother had to tell, it inspired me more to get the word out about it. That is why on every page we do together, they will have a link to more information about it. Kyle, and the others like him, are no different than the rest of us. They just can't seem to settle down. Jesus said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matt 18:3) And, "Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives ME." (Matt 18:5) Kyle and the others like him are children. The Lord is not going to leave them behind just because they have this disease. I say, "God Bless the parents, grandparents, foster parents, adopted parents, etc. for all the hard work you do endure with this disease". God gave you the patience to deal with this and I can honestly say that I may not have dealt with it easily. Thank you Kyle, for being my friend. And God Bless you Mona, for sharing him with all of us who have visited your page and his.
