NEWS:

15 October 00 - I'll be opening for musical guests Robert Gerics and Connie Kaldor at the Listening Room November 3.

22 April 00 - The new book is out! To Kiss the Sun and Mean It is now available from zËde publishing, or from amazon.com or bn.com. More information will be added to this site in the near future, but for now, the sample poem from this book is "Hymn for the Longest Night in Advent."

9 February 2000 - I've just been scheduled to fill a last-minute cancellation at xhedos' Acoustic Juice this Sunday, February 13, 2000. xhedos is on 9 Mile just west of Woodward in downtown Ferndale. I enjoyed reading there so much on the 30th, and am really looking forward to this! It all starts at 8:00 p.m., and as always, there is no cover.

15 January 2000 - I will be reading at xhedos in Ferndale on 30 Jan 2000 as part of their Acoustic Juice series. Also performing that night will be John Finan, Gretchen Busam, and host Sista Otis. It all starts at 8:00 pm and there is no cover. I'll be reading selections from my forthcoming book, To Kiss the Sun and Mean It, which should be out in early to mid-February.

18 December 1999 - Deciphering Scars and When Midnight Comes Around may now be ordered online from Barnes & Noble, and may also be special-ordered from their stores. Both books are also still available through Amazon.com and from Shaman Drum, and can also be ordered directly from zËde publishing, P.O. Box 20383, Detroit, MI 48220.

1 December 1999 - The new book, due out in early 2000, will be titled To Kiss the Sun and Mean It. That's a quote from Bruce Cockburn's song, "Dialogue With the Devil" (from the album Sunwheel Dance). (Thanks to True North Records/Golden Mountain Music for the use of that quote.)

18 November 1999 - Yeah, yeah, still (forever) working on that third book. It's getting bigger and bigger, too. Just wanted to sign in & plug something else that's getting bigger and bigger... an event next fall, put on by an arts organization I've become involved with... Detroit Focus 2000.

10 August 1999 - The free chapbook, #6895 / Hymn for the Longest Night in Advent, has been discontinued. However, Hymn is now posted on this website. It will be included in the forthcoming book whose working title has not been disclosed.

Summer 1999 - All titles are available at Shaman Drum on State Street in Ann Arbor.

Spring 1999 - All titles are now available through amazon.com.
