Pleurobranchus grandis

A strange looking slug of the order Notaspidea, a sidegill slug that can secrete sulphuric acid when disturbed as a defence mechanism. Generally found on sandy bottoms looking for buried prey. This example photographed at "Tower Reef" near Jeddah (Red Sea).
