Real Fossil Dinosaur 4 EGG NEST Hadrosaur Saurolophus (12" Diameter Eggs)

Rare Saurolophus Hadrosaur Asian egg nest

Species: Saurolophus angustirostres

Species description: Large 35 ft Herbivore was 18' tall with flat-head. It had a huge battery of Chisel-like teeth designed to grind plants. Only 10 skulls and 1 skeleton found. These are much rarer in fossil records than other hadrosaurs. Eggs of these dinosaurs are rarely found.

We have never offered a nest this beautiful for sale.

Geologic strata: Kaoguo Formation

Item Location: Upper Asia –Xixan Basin, Henan Providence, China

Rare Perfect World's Best 4 EGG NEST Hadrosaur Saurolophus 12" Diameter Eggs. This is an amazing 4 eggs with almost perfection with total shell on 3 of eggs and one 90% egg shell This by far is without a doubt the best egg nest I ever saw. It came from a China expert who had it in his collection for 15 years until he had to sell. One of you will be very lucky. Its light gray color is highly unusual and normally the species of hadrosaur is unknown but the previous owner said due to rareness and color since Saurolophus eggs are so rare and had only a few in his lifetime it is highly believed this was the species. For those of you that must have perfection this is the one and it is suspected to have further remains inside. I will not guarantee this but it obviously had no eggs hatched and when preserved this pure it also preserves all that is within well also IM so enamored with this nest it was a much to add and the best eggs at this year's Tucson show by far .

Price: US $2,799

Shipping and insurance: $125 (SOLD)

The largest dinosaurs that ever lived, the sauropods, include such well-known forms as Brontosaurus - Apatosaurus from North America, Mamenchisaurus from China and Rhoetosaurus from Australia.

Although their bones are known from every continent except Antarctica, their eggs are known from only three places: The Peoples' Republic of Mongolia, Provence (France) and Patagonia, Argentina.

The eggs in this exhibition from Mongolia were laid in a depression scooped out of sand.

Examination of the microstructure of the eggshell indicates that the embryos died before the eggs hatched because the eggs were covered with water and the embryos drowned. In order for the embryos to obtain oxygen while in the egg, the surface of the shell was covered with 200,000-300,000 pores.

The volume of the individual eggs is 1.7-1.8 litres. (1.7 Liters = 57.48 Ounces or 0.449Gallons. / 1.8 Liters = 60.86 Ounces)

Tyrannosaurus / Tarbosaurus Egg Largest Ever Found!

Real Fossil Tarbosaurus egg.

Geological strata: Kanoguo, XiXia Basin

Late Cretaceous

Discovered in Henan Providence, China.

This egg is unbelievably Perfect in condition.

The original egg just sold for almost $6,000, but we made a mold from it, and now have replicas available for only $120 (photo of original shown)

Egg cast measurues 16" long and over 7" wide. This is the largest Asian T-rex egg ever found. Most large eggs are 12-14 inches long - this is over 2 inches longer!

This may be the largest dinosaur egg known.

The original fossil was in great condition due to the baby Tarbosaurus coming out of one end of the egg. While hatching, it did not destroy any of the egg shell and it hardened without collapsing or crushing the egg.

This is simply a marvelous piece.

Tarbosaurus Egg. This is the Largest Tarbosaurus Egg Ever Found!

Tarbosaurus (Asian Trex)

Tarbosaurus is the Asian T-rex. It resembles T-rex in almost every way - except that the Tarbosaurus is much more rare.

It was 46 ft long and had large teeth and claws. Tarbosaurus ate any thing it desired. It actually had a longer skull than Trex. Tarbosaurus laid its eggs in a spiral pattern nest.

Therizinosaurs (or segnosaurs) are theropod dinosaurs belonging to the clade Therizinosauroidea

The name therizinosaur is derived from the Greek therizo meaning "to reap" or "to cut off" and sauros meaning "lizard". The older name segnosaur is derived from Latin segnis meaning "slow" or "sluggish" and Greek sauros meaning "lizard".

Velociraptor Egg Clutch

This was identified by a Paleontologist as a Velociraptor Egg Clutch.

It has been in a personal collection for 15 years and is now for sale.

This is a very rare find. It was identified as velociraptor by a Paleontologist. The size of 7" (for the egg) allows for the possibility that it could belong to an oviraptor, but there are differences (especially in the width) between the two.

This partial nest was prepared by a friend of mine here in the United States. The two main eggs have hatched with some shell present around the sides and bottom. The shell from the top is likely pressed down into the egg (below the top matrix).

We can also get you real fossil dinosaur eggs, and also cast replicas of bird eggs (both modern and extinct) please inguire.
