Thanks for your interest in some of my works that I've posted here!
Figured I'd take some time to put together a bit of a profile on myself.

West coast of Canada - where it's usually beautiful and green!
Interests:
I'm big into the arts in all forms, ranging from martial arts, drawing and painting, to of course reading and writing. I also love movies, comic books and music and my tastes are pretty varied, but of course include the horror genre.
How I got started with writing:
I started when I was quite young, doing up amateur comic books with my best friend. As I got older, my work shifted toward fiction writing, but at that stage was quite terrible and lacked any kind of focus. I still cringe when I read some of my earliest note books.
By about 18 years old I got really into Resident Evil and did up a fanfiction for it (that I put back up at fanfiction.net), which was full of typical pitfalls of early writing attempts, such as badly fleshed out characters, loose plots, lack of focus and overall no sense of planning. I wrote it quite blindly and though I consider it badly written, it still served as a jumping point for me to experiment and get really excited about writing.
