The Promotions and Awards point program allows WHA members

 to promote their Haflingers and the breed while earning cool gifts. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2010 Promotions & Awards participants:

 

In 2010 Marjorie Puckett and her Haflinger, Mariko, earned a whopping 550+ points, way exceeding the level 4 requirements. The big event of the year for the two was riding in the New Year's Rose Parade in Pasadena, California--a beautiful Haflinger presentation. Other events they participated in were rides with the Tucson Trail Riders, Marana Fair Grounds barrel racing, clinics with Conrad Schumaker, the Marana Dressage Show, Tucson Equestrian Center Trail Competions, Trail Clinics at San Juan Island Fairgrounds, Bits and Spurs Shows, Eagle Mt. Ranch Shows, and the Eugene Oregon Mt. Trail Horse Clinics.

Gale Emmons and Lila-Jane DHM achieved Level 4 with 170 points by participating in public rides, jumping shows and demonstrations.  The pair competed in two trail trials including an American Competative Trail Horse Association ride and placed second in both in stiff open competition.  Haflinger's can do it all!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Doug Stout and Style achieved 70 points in public rides leading both beginning and advanced riders safely though mountains and rivers.  Doug is proud of the hardiness and level-headedness of all his Haflingers and particularly counts on Style to get the job done.
