The Taj Mahal

This is a 21-meter high tomb, which was constructed in the memory of Mirza Ghiyas, the father-in-law of Jahangir. The name of this tome Itmad-Ud-Daulah means “pillar of the state.” There is a Persian touch to the overall architecture, and you will enjoy every bit of design and curves here. The interiors are as beautiful as the exteriors and the wall paintings will capture all your attention here. Visiting here will definitely take you back to the royal times.

Fatehpur Sikri

This monument was built by Akbar and was a tribute to a Sufi Saint. This is a perfect blend of Indian, Persian, and Islamic architecture. The beautiful red sandstone was used to build this beautiful structure. This city was capital of Mughal Empire for around 10 years. There are gates, towers, and a 6 kilometers long wall around the city. You will be awestruck to see the Buland darwaza, Panch Mahal, Birbal’s house, Jama Masjid, and so on.
