The Kiger Breed possesses many attributes and displays a personality that is often described as puppy like. They are a highly intelligent breed that will both amaze and astonish you. Their problem solving abilities and their power of reasoning are unmatched. They can appear to look like many other breeds of horses. However, the Kiger is in a class of its own! They possess a great desire to please and have a child like enthusiasm. The Kiger possesses strong Dun Factor which is traced back to the primitive horse. This shows up as bi-colored manes/tails, dorsal stripe, shoulder barring, ear barring, leg barring. It can also include chest barring, face masking and cob webbing. The most common colors are: Dun and Grulla. However, Red Dun, Lobo Dun, Bay, Clay Bank and Dunalino are also present. Their heights are most commonly 14.1hh to 14.3. They have produced up to 16 hh. Kigers are a relatively new breed that has already began to prove itself as being very versatile. They have excelled in working cattle, ranch horses, reining, cutting, hunter/jumper and dressage. The breed has also become very sought after for its ability to cross with other breeds to add intelligence, beauty, along with good bone and hoof. Kiger Atractivo Grande is a beautiful Dun Stallion captured from the Riddle HMA as a 6 year old. He was selected for our breeding program from numerous other Kiger Stallions due to his kind eye, calm nature and all around good looks! The first day home he displayed a very docile attitude with no desire for dominance. He has easily adapted to his domesticated life and has continued to display his gentle and calm nature. His intelligence and ability to adapt is impressive! Kiger Atractivo Grande stands 14.2 hh and has extremely high knee action. His movements are smooth and majestic. He has strong dun factor and passes even stronger dun factor to his foals. His foals have great conformation, beauty and intelligence.
