Beginning making music in 2002, DeadShot has had an exceptionally long and

obscure career. Starting with an Alt Metal band in 2002, DeadShot learned how to play guitar

and sing. After several attempts to jump back into the metal scene, he tried his hand at hip hop,

and a legend was born. Adopting the name Tanampi Illi, which translated from Choctaw, means

At War Til Death, he released his first self titled mixtape. After some soul searching, and failure

from fans to be able to pronounce his name correctly, he adopted the name of one his favorite

comic book characters. He then released another mixtape, From The Ashes Vol.1, with

fellow rapper Rack Shaide. The duo soon split due to creative and personal differences.

Since then, DeadShot has performed with such acts as Kung Fu Vampire, The Damn Dirty Apes,

I.L.A.M., R.I.P. Soldiers, Sickamore Treezy, Saint James, Big Tone, Eternal, Razor Records,

Dylo Smalls, The Wightman Ray Ray, and many others.

In 2015, DeadShot met with Rick Lucero and James Gregg and began construction of the

Wyoming division of Battleaxe Warriors.
