Along with Big, the man that actually created the League and the reason for its existence is Paul. Moreover, if not for Paul, Thom would never have started running games at all and would be blissfully unaware of the problems in the gaming world that led to the official creation of the League.

Paul has played D&D under multiple editions and multiple DMs, Vampire: the Masquerade, Dark Ages: Vampire, Hunter: the Reckoning and Shadowrun. He was a member of the beta test audience for the locally created table-top RPG games based on the Final Fantasy series and created the rules for Dragonball X and its successor, Dragonball Unlimited.

He plays in the official YuGiOh and Pokemon leagues and will tell you that he played Magic: the Gathering "Until the Ice Age melted."

He doesn't like board games, but he and Thom will spar at chess every now and again. Also, he is a huge fan of Apples to Apples.

He is also a hardcore console gamer, having owned nearly every gaming system from the NES to the PS3. (among the ones on the list of systems missed were the original X-Box and the Wii...both of them on purpose) He despises first-person shooter and racing games and real-time strategy games aren't really his thing either. He is an action/adventure platform gamer with a specialty in RPGs.

And, whatever you do, please, dear god, do NOT ask him about WoW.

As though all of that weren't enough, he is also an artist (with a Bachelor's Degree in Three-Dimensional Animation) and a writer. You can find his art at his Deviant Art site (WARNING: some of his work is adult-rated) and his writing at his Fan Fiction site
