The Author of "Somewhere In The Pacific"
Billie Jean (Stevens) Craft was born in Greenup county Kentucky September 14, 1955. She was the second oldest of six children. She has three grown children.
As an 11 year old girl Billie tried to understand the heinous crime and murders of her beloved mother and grandmother.
Years later while searching for unanswered questions after talking to family members and friends, Craft stumbled upon a letter written by her grandfather. The letter was written on January 18, 1945 three months before his death while serving in WWll. Thru the details of this letter was Billie’s inspiration of her book titled, “Somewhere In The Pacific”.
