The seal colony at Donna Nook is a remarkable sight  in November and December when the pups are born. Many hundreds can be seen at close quarters.
Donna Nook is also home to an Air Weapons range and aviation enthusiasts can enjoy a close-up sight of  front-line aircraft honing their skills on the targets.
The new Eurofighter, the Typhoon, can be seen in action here. Nearby North Coates airfield hosts regular “fly-ins” for microlight, ultralight, and light aircraft with visits from war-birds and vintage aircraft.
