High School Outreach

Why at High Schools?

   High School & Middle School students are probably the people who need to see our displays the most. They are surrounded every day by people telling them that promiscuity, sex, and abortion are acceptable, even at their age. We bring the reality of abortion straight to the schools.

Is that legal?

   Yes. Some have questioned the legality of displaying these pictures, especially when the target audience are minors. The Supreme Court has decided that even extremely objectionable speech is protect by the 1st Amendment to the Constitution.

Aren't you trespassing on school property?

   We do not trespass. We keep ourselves, and our signs in the public right-of-way, either on sidewalks or road-sides. these areas are open to the public and we therefore enjoy 1st amendment protections there.

Are you going to my, or my child's school?

The School Outreach program is the most effective, and most controversial, method noabortmd.org uses to combat abortion. We arrive at a school about an hour to an hour and a half before school begins. We use graphic abortion signs, which, in and of themselves educates on the horrors of abortion. If that High School permits outdoor lunch in veiw of the public sidewalks, we may return for the lunch hour. We return again about thirty to forty-five minutes before the end of school until all or most students have left the school.
