Mission

MORE Books is an independent book store, located in South Gate California that concentrates its efforts on cultivating fringe writings of all sorts. Natalie More started the company in 1988 using her kitchen as an office. Since then, MORE Books has grown and prospered. The sole purpose of MORE Books is to stimulate the collective by cultivating an outlet for the expression of alternate opinions.

Staff

Natalie More – Natalie is the founder and the spirit of MORE Books. She received a PhD in Literary Criticism from Hroch University in 1983. After finishing graduate school, Natalie started writing full time. She became frustrated because there was no outlet that was willing to sell and promote her cyberpunk, stream of consciousness musings. Shee was one of the founding members of the San Francisco Collective and has been involved in Spoken Word Underground since its inception. In addition to writing and speaking throughout the country, Natalie is the CEO of MORE Books.

Kristy Kline – Kristy is the heart and muscle of MORE Books. Her cheery disposition and her unrelenting nature keep the staff hurling toward goals and deadlines alike. In her “spare” time, Kristy is a graduate student in Women’s Literature at the New School, and by night she is one of San Francisco’s best Word performers.

Mia Long – Mia is the voice of MORE Books. If you call the store, Mia will solve your problems or direct you to someone who will.
