J.K. Rowling's book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the seventh and last book in the Harry Potter series.
The books are a very popular franchise, but the movies are in a class of their own.
The ending of the series is split into two movies: Part One drops November 19, 2010 and Part 2 is coming in Summer 2011.
A quick summary of Harry's story:
Harry Potter was born to Lily and James Potter, and at the age of one he became an orphan thanks to the most evil wizard of all time, Voldemort. Harry went to live with his Muggle aunt and uncle till one day he was accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Since then Harry and his friends have been fighting Voldemort and his dark forces.
As the story enters into the Deathly Hallows, Harry is supposed to be in his last year at school, but he isn't going. Harry will be going on an epic adventure to stop Voldemort once and for all...or die trying.!!
