DKI stands for Dark Knightz Inc and was started on May 30th, 2003 - and was officially shut down by Phoenix on November 12th, 2008 - after being active for 5 1/2 years. Our original tag was D4rk_Kn1ght. At one time during our first year, DKI had 6 additional tags - all started and created by Phoenix - this was how we became D4rk Kn1ght Inc. We were the very first 'Inc' group ever created. We wanted to be different from the other groups out there. The additional tags were: Ang3lz_0f_D4rkn355, D34dly_Gu4rd14n5, H3llz_D0m41n, Kry0g3n1c_S0ld13r5, R0gu3_W4rr10r5, and Xolx. Originally it was Cry0g3n1c_S0ld13r5, however it was changed by request from the Cryog3n1c_H3ll group to avoid being confused with them. After 6 months, the additional tags were reduced to = and became - Angl3z_0f_D4rkn355, H3llz_D0m41n, and Kn1ght_R4v3n5. After our first year, we eliminated numbers from the tags, and changed our names to only one tag: Dark_Knightz - and known as Dark Knightz Inc.

My very first group (which is how I - Phoenix - got the idea to start my own group) was Nemesis, owned/created by Punisher and Wicked. They taught me the basics of booting and security. When I started DKI, it was suggested by swamp_panther (DKI Silent Panther) and his fiancee kristen_alexander20 (DKI Poetic Beauty) that terryt1176 (DKI Ass Kicker) be my right hand man. I knew Terry, so I talked to him about it - and after some consideration, he agreed. This is why he is Co-Founder of DKI and second in command. He has been very loyal and has proven to be a great asset to this family. 

One of our original leaders - sweet_lady_as_they_come - was removed from leadership. This was voted on byt the Owners and Officers after many complaints due to her constant negative attitude and power-trip mindset. She was informed of the reason why this action was taken. We also gave her the possibility to earn her position back. When the problem continued, the DKI Family voted to have her DKI name stripped and she was banished from the family. After she was kicked out of the family, she ran to the Guardian Soldiers group and was placed under their protection. Sweet Lady declared war on DKI, with the support of Guardian Soldiers - who was a DKI Ally at the time - and the Inner CIrcle group. In response, DKI severed all ties with Guardian Soldiers, and an order was given to attack and Guardian Soldier member and Sweet Lady on sight. 

During this war, Sweet Lady received help from ronsixtynine, usdnighteagle, Forgotten_Soulz_Wolf (who was Sweet LAdy's spy), the Guardian Soldiers and the Inner Circle groups. Forgotten Soulz was also Allies with DKI, and they booted Wolf from their group. A cloned name was created: Seven_Deadly_Sins_Phoenix - with my information on the profile, as well the the DKI website at the time. There were some harsh words on the profile about the Nemesis family, and the cloned SDS name was set loose in Single PArents Rooms 5 and 7. The purpose of the cloned SDS name was to get the Seven Deadly Sins and Nemesis groups to declare war on DKI to shut us down. This attempt failed - neither group declared war on DKI. The Nemesis and Seven Deadly Sins were 2 of the largest and most powerful groups at the time, and neither of them played games when it came to war.
