Hey, my name is Daimean Martinez. I was born on April 4th, 1998 in Chicago, Illinois. I'm fourteen years old and I currently live in Chicago, Illinois and I'm a freshman at Holy Trinity high school. I've been to three different elementary schools and lived in Chicago my entire life, although I've left the state a few times for vacation. I've been to Florida, Colorado, Louisiana and New Orleans (last two as an infant) and my family is planning to fly to Mexico this summer and is likely to fly to Puerto Rico NEXT summer. I've been known to write poems and begin writing (but almost never finish) stories, the types of poems I write are usually dark, romantic, intended to make people think, and I always make sure they have something people can relate to. I love to listen to all kinds of music: rap, rock, metal, alternative, sometimes even classical or jazz. I always saw music as expression in the form of entertainment, to me it's probably the most common form of expression of thoughts, ideas, and feelings. I can be a very deep and emotional person with many things, I can turn almost any situation into a poetic piece.
